Danhausen celebrated a memorable moment on WWE SmackDown by winning his first official in-ring match for the company. The unique superstar defeated Kit Wilson in a short but entertaining match that featured ringside involvement from The Miz and a surprising pyro moment that helped decide the outcome.

The victory marked an important step for Danhausen as he continues to build his presence on WWE television.

Match Begins with Mind Games and Early Action

Kit Wilson entered the match with The Miz at ringside. Before the bell, both Wilson and Miz mocked Danhausen’s famous “curse,” saying it was not real.

When the match began, Danhausen showed confidence by puffing out his chest before Wilson suddenly shoved him in the face. Danhausen quickly responded with a dropkick that sent Wilson back.

The action then moved outside the ring where Danhausen accidentally wrapped his arm around The Miz while posing, apparently confusing him with Wilson. Once Miz realized what happened, Wilson took advantage and struck Danhausen with a flying elbow.

    Pyro Moment Turns the Match

Back inside the ring, Wilson loudly repeated that the curse was not real. Danhausen responded with a jawbreaker that slowed Wilson’s momentum.

Wilson later climbed to the top rope to attempt another attack. At that moment, Danhausen performed his signature “curse.” Pyrotechnics suddenly fired behind the ring post, which startled Wilson and caused him to lose his balance.

Wilson stumbled from the top rope and fell, creating an opening for Danhausen. He quickly followed with a powerful big boot before pinning Wilson to secure the victory.

The quick finish and unexpected pyro moment created a loud reaction from the crowd inside the arena.

    Post-Match Moment Leaves Questions

After the match ended, The Miz quietly moved behind Danhausen as if he was preparing to attack him. Before anything could happen, the arena lights suddenly went out.

When the lights came back on, Danhausen was no longer in the ring. He was seen running up the entrance ramp while Miz remained standing inside the ring.

The mysterious moment left fans wondering whether the lights-out moment was part of Danhausen’s escape plan or something else entirely.

Danhausen Continues Building Momentum in WWE

Danhausen originally appeared in WWE earlier this year at the Elimination Chamber event. During that debut, he emerged from a coffin placed inside a wooden box that had been transported between Raw and SmackDown.

Since that introduction, he has continued to appear on both brands using his unique character and signature “curse.”

WWE has also paired him with The Miz in a mentorship-style partnership. Reports suggest the idea came from SmackDown authority figure Nick Aldis, with Miz helping guide the character on television.

Strong Start to Danhausen’s In-Ring Run

The match on SmackDown focused on character moments and quick offense rather than a long technical contest. Even so, it delivered several memorable moments including the dropkick, flying elbow, jawbreaker, pyro spot, and the final big boot.

With his first WWE in-ring victory now secured, Danhausen continues to gain momentum as he develops his role on SmackDown and expands his presence across WWE programming.
