    Rising American tennis star Hailey Baptiste delivered exciting performances in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships 2026 (WTA 1000) qualifiers, showcasing her growing confidence and aggressive playing style.

    The 21-year-old player competed in two intense matches over two days, thrilling fans with her power hitting and fighting spirit. Although her campaign ended in the final qualifying round, Baptiste’s form continues to highlight her potential for a breakthrough season.

    Dominant Win Over Shuai Zhang in Qualifying Round 1

    Baptiste began her Dubai campaign with a strong straight-sets victory against experienced Chinese player Shuai Zhang on February 13.

    She controlled the match with aggressive groundstrokes and solid serving, winning key points at crucial moments. Her movement and powerful forehand helped her maintain pressure throughout the contest.
