    Virginia Cavaliers secured an impressive 82–73 victory over Wright State Raiders in the first round of the NCAA Tournament on Friday in Richmond, Virginia. The win helped Virginia move forward to the Round of 32, keeping their March Madness campaign alive.

    The Cavaliers, seeded No. 3 in the Midwest region, had to overcome a tough challenge from No. 14 seed Wright State, who played confidently and even led the game late in the second half. However, a strong finish from Virginia, highlighted by a key scoring run, helped them seal the win.
