Layne Riggs delivered a standout performance to win the OnlyBulls Green Flag 150 at the St. Petersburg street circuit, securing his first victory of the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season. The Front Row Motorsports driver showed speed, control, and composure in the closing laps, holding off strong challenges from former champions Ty Majeski and Ben Rhodes in a tense finish.
The victory marked the sixth Truck Series win of Riggs’ career and provided a major turnaround after a difficult start to the season.
Strong Comeback After Slow Start
Riggs entered the St. Petersburg weekend looking for a reset after disappointing results in the opening two races, where he finished 31st at Daytona and 27th at Atlanta. The win on the tight Florida street course not only gave him early momentum in the standings but also proved his growing versatility as a driver.

Fuel management added another layer of difficulty, forcing Riggs to carefully control his lines through corners while trying to maintain track position. Majeski and Rhodes stayed close and even battled each other for second, creating an intense run to the white flag.
Despite the pressure, Riggs kept his composure and defended his position cleanly to take the checkered flag.
