Background of the Coaches
Daniel Cormier retired from professional fighting after competing in two consecutive title fights between 2019 and 2020. During his career, he became one of the few fighters in UFC history to win championships in two weight divisions.
Michael Bisping retired earlier after losing his middleweight title to Georges St-Pierre in 2017. Shortly after that fight, he accepted a short-notice bout against Kelvin Gastelum but lost the match and suffered an eye injury that eventually ended his career.
Both fighters later transitioned into roles as analysts and commentators while staying closely connected to the sport.
Production and Casting
The Ultimate Fighter Season 34 is produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television. The UFC opened remote casting for the new season in early March, giving fighters from around the world the chance to apply.
The series continues its tradition of introducing new talent to the UFC and giving young fighters an opportunity to prove themselves on a global platform.
The full season will stream on Paramount+. Fans can watch the premiere on June 14 and then follow the competition with weekly episodes released every Tuesday.
Earlier seasons of The Ultimate Fighter will also be added to Paramount+ in late May, allowing viewers to revisit previous seasons before the new one begins.
The upcoming season will feature experienced coaching from two UFC legends and showcase new fighters competing for their chance to reach the top level of MMA.
