Bryson DeChambeau produced a dramatic finish to win the LIV Golf Singapore 2026 title after defeating Richard Lee in a tense playoff at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course. The American golfer secured his fourth LIV Golf victory after a tight battle that went down to the final hole.

Both players finished the regulation rounds tied at 14-under-par 270, forcing a sudden-death playoff to decide the champion. DeChambeau kept his composure in the decisive moment and lifted the trophy after Lee made a costly mistake on the final putt.

    Dramatic Playoff Decides the Champion

The final round of LIV Golf Singapore was intense as Bryson DeChambeau and Richard Lee matched each other shot for shot.

Both golfers finished the round with five-under-par 66, ending the tournament tied at the top of the leaderboard.

With both players finishing at 14-under 270, the championship moved into a sudden-death playoff.

Playoff Drama on the Final Hole

The playoff took place on the par-5 18th hole, where both players had a chance to win the tournament.

DeChambeau played the hole safely and secured a par, putting pressure on Richard Lee to match the score.

Lee had a short 90-centimeter putt for par that would have forced another playoff hole. However, the putt narrowly missed the hole and resulted in a bogey, giving DeChambeau the victory.

The moment stunned players and fans alike as the ball lipped out despite appearing almost certain to drop.

DeChambeau Claims Fourth LIV Golf Title

The Singapore victory marked Bryson DeChambeau’s fourth title in LIV Golf and his first win in nearly ten months.

The American golfer last won a LIV event in May 2025 at the LIV Golf Korea tournament. His latest victory in Singapore showed that he remains one of the strongest players on the tour.

    Strong Performance from Richard Lee

Despite the heartbreaking playoff loss, Richard Lee delivered one of the best performances of his career.

Lee, who entered the tournament as a wild card entry, impressed throughout the competition and matched DeChambeau over the full 54-hole event.

The runner-up finish also earned Lee a prize of $2.25 million, which surpassed his previous career earnings on the Korea Professional Golf Association Tour.

Lee earned his LIV Golf opportunity after finishing first in the promotion qualifying event earlier this year, and his performance in Singapore proved he can compete with the world’s top players.

    Tough Conditions During Final Round

The final round at Sentosa Golf Club’s Serapong Course was played in challenging weather conditions.

Rain interrupted the competition, making the course conditions more difficult for players. Fast greens and tricky slopes also made putting extremely challenging.

These conditions contributed to the dramatic finish, where a single missed putt decided the tournament.

    DeChambeau’s Winning Momentum

Bryson DeChambeau continues to prove himself as one of the most exciting players in professional golf.

His ability to perform under pressure was clear during the playoff, where he stayed calm and secured the victory with a steady par.

Winning the LIV Golf Singapore title also gives him strong momentum for upcoming events on the tour.

The Singapore victory strengthens DeChambeau’s position among the top competitors in the LIV Golf league.

With four LIV titles now to his name and two major championships already in his career, the American golfer continues to build an impressive legacy in professional golf.

The dramatic playoff win also adds another memorable moment to the 2026 LIV Golf season.
