West Indies cricketer Javon Searles has been provisionally suspended from all forms of cricket after being charged with multiple breaches of anti-corruption regulations. The action comes as part of an investigation related to the Bim10 Tournament held in Barbados during the 2023/24 season.
Along with Searles, team official Trevon Griffith and team owner Chitranjan Rathod have also been charged under the anti-corruption codes that govern cricket competitions.

Chitranjan Rathod, who owns the Titans franchise, faces three charges, while Javon Searles has been charged with four offences. Trevon Griffith faces four charges under the CWI Code, along with an additional charge under international anti-corruption regulations.
The charges relate to allegations that include attempts to improperly influence the result or conduct of matches and failing to cooperate with investigators during the inquiry.

In addition to the charges under the regional code, Trevon Griffith faces an additional allegation related to international anti-corruption regulations.
He has been accused of obstructing an investigation by concealing or tampering with information that may have been relevant to the inquiry. Authorities believe this information could have helped investigators uncover further evidence related to corrupt conduct.
Immediate Suspension from All Cricket
Following the charges, all three individuals have been provisionally suspended from participating in any form of cricket with immediate effect.
They have been given 14 days from March 11, 2026 to respond to the allegations and present their defense before disciplinary proceedings begin.
