    The Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025–26 has entered its high-intensity knockout stage after an action-packed league phase featuring dramatic finishes, record-breaking performances, and dominating displays from India’s top domestic sides. With the group stage ending on January 8, the fight for the prestigious one-day title now moves to Bengaluru, where the quarter finals begin on January 12.

    This year’s tournament has already delivered several standout moments — from Ruturaj Gaikwad equalling the all-time record for most centuries in the tournament’s history to elite teams like Uttar Pradesh and Karnataka stamping their authority early in the season.

    Eight teams — the top two from each Elite Group — made it to the knockouts.
