Pitch Report – Batting or Bowling Friendly?
The pitch at ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium, Visakhapatnam is generally batting-friendly.
The surface offers good bounce and pace, which helps batters play through the line with confidence. New-ball bowlers can get some movement early, but this advantage fades quickly as the pitch settles.
As the match progresses, the wicket becomes flatter and easier for batting, especially in ODI and T20I matches. Spinners do get some assistance in the middle overs, but they need accuracy and variation to be effective.
Dew plays an important role in day-night matches and often makes chasing easier. Overall, this venue supports high-scoring games, particularly in limited-overs cricket.
