- Mullanpur Stadium, New Chandigarh – The home ground of Punjab Kings, seen as well-equipped for marquee fixtures, including an opening ceremony.
If RCB cannot host the opener, the match could be shifted to Mullanpur, especially as defending champions traditionally earn the right to host the season’s first game.
