Blessing Muzarabani Shines in T20 World Cup 2026: Zimbabwe’s fast-bowling spearhead delivers a match-winning performance and reaches a major milestone

Zimbabwe fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani produced one of the standout performances of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, leading his team to a stunning 23-run victory over Australia at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.

The tall pacer was at his destructive best, taking 4 wickets for just 17 runs, dismantling the Australian batting lineup and playing a key role in one of the biggest upsets of the tournament. During the match, Muzarabani also achieved a major career milestone by completing 100 wickets in T20 International cricket.

    Match-Winning Spell Against Australia

Muzarabani set the tone early by striking in the powerplay, helping reduce Australia to 29/4 inside the first six overs. His disciplined line, bounce, and variations made scoring difficult on a slow surface.
